When I founded Essential Epoxy in 2020, I noticed many companies promoting “1-day flooring systems” installed directly over raw concrete. That approach simply does NOT work. Homeowners were left frustrated as their concrete floors began to delaminate and peel, leading to costly repairs.

I knew I could deliver a better solution for durable epoxy flooring!

Industry studies confirm that epoxy flooring bonds successfully with concrete floors when the following proven steps are followed:

The floor has 8% or less moisture content,
Is professionally ground to a CSP-3 standard (the industry benchmark) using a planetary concrete grinder or shot blaster,
Is coated with 100% solid epoxy and finished with a high-performance polyaspartic topcoat.
The result? A durable, long-lasting concrete coating as strong as steel!
